Brennan Perdue Brennan Perdue Boys Track May 23-28

Senior Brennan Perdue earned Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts this past Saturday at the OHSAA Division 2 Region 7 Track Championships at Chillicothe.   Brennan was a member of the 3rd place 4 x 400 relay and 4 x 800 relay squads that qualified for the State Meet.  He also placed 7th in the 1600 and ran a personal best 1:58.56 in the 800 to finish 5th.          

Lily Herriott Lily Herriott Girls Track May 23-28

Senior Lily Herriott earned Athlete of the Week honors as she qualified for the State Meet in the High Jump at the OHSAA Division 2 Region 7 Track Championships at Chillicothe.  Lily will represent the Warriors in the High Jump, as she cleared 5’2” to secure 3rd place and punch her ticket to Columbus.  Lily will closeout her career by making her 3rd appearance at the OHSAA State Track Championships this Friday.

Brennan Perdue Brennan Perdue Boys Track May 16-21

Senior Brennan Perdue earned Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts this past week in leading the Warriors to the District Track team title at Meigs.   On Tuesday, Brennan was a member of the winning 4 x 800 relay squad that qualified for Regionals.  He followed that up by qualifying in 3 more events, placing 2nd in both the 800 and 1600 meter runs, and he anchored the 4 x 400 1st place relay team.        

Grace Randall Grace Randall Girls Track May 16-21

Senior Grace Randall earned Athlete of the Week honors for her efforts this past week at the District Track Meet at Meigs.  On Tuesday, Grace was a member of the Regional qualifying 4 x 800 Relay squad.  Then on Saturday, Grace ran a personal best 1:01.04 in placing 2nd in the 400 and was a member of the 4 x 400 Relay that qualified for Regionals. 

Trent Taylor Trent Taylor Baseball May 9-14

Sophomore Trent Taylor earned Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts in four games this past week on the diamond.   At the plate, Trent collected 8 hits in 14 at-bats, with 3 doubles, a triple, a HR, and 4 RBI, to go along with 8 runs scored.  He also posted a win on the mound, pitching 4 innings, allowing 1 earned run on 2 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1.    

Maddie Lewis Maddie Lewis Girls Track May 9-14

Freshman Maddie Lewis earned her first career Athlete of the Week honors for her efforts this past week on the oval.  On Tuesday at Meigs, Maddie finished 2nd in the 400 and was a member of the 2nd place 4 x 800 Relay.  She completed her week by earning All-ECOL honors as a member of the winning 4 x 800 Relay squad and with a 3rd place finish and personal best in the 1600 (5:49.02).

Caleb Davis Caleb Davis Baseball April 25-30

Senior Caleb Davis earned Athlete of the Week honors as he led the Warriors to a 2-1 week on the diamond.  At the plate, Caleb finished 7-12, with multiple hits in each game, had 3 RBI, added 6 stolen bases, and scored 7 runs.  Caleb was the winning pitcher versus Parkersburg, scattering 7 hits and 3 runs over 6 innings.

Brooke Miller Brooke Miller Girls Track

April 25-30

Senior Brooke Miller earned her first career Athlete of the Week honors for her performance at the Athens Ohio Valley Runners Company Invitational last Wednesday.  In leading the Warriors to a first place team finish, Brooke captured first place in the 100 meters (13.85), 3rd in the 200 meters (28.41), was a member of the 1st place 4 x 100 Relay squad, and was on the 4th place 4 x 200 Relay.

Hayden Pelletier Hayden Pelletier Baseball April 18-23

Senior Hayden Pelletier earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors as he led the Warriors to a 2-2 week on the diamond.  Hayden pitched a no-hitter and blasted a homerun in a 11-0 victory over Waterford.  For the week, he finished 6-13 at the plate.   

Olivia Congleton Olivia Congleton Softball April 18-23

Senior Olivia Congleton earned Athlete of the Week honors for her performances in leading the Warriors to 3 wins in 4 games.  For the week, Olivia was 11-16 at the plate with 13 RBI.  She collected 6 extra base hits, including 3 doubles and 3 homeruns.  On Senior day versus Marietta, Olivia finished 4-5 at the plate with 5 RBI.  Her four hits included 2 doubles and 2 homeruns, the final a walk-off grand slam in a 20-7 win over the Tigers.  Defensively from her catcher’s position, she recorded 31 put-outs, 2 pick-offs, and 1 assist.

Hayden Wells Hayden Wells Boys Track April 11-16

Freshman Hayden Wells earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors for his performance at the Fort Frye Quad.  Competing in the high jump, Hayden recorded his personal best of 5’8”, earning 1st place honors.

Lily Herriott Lily Herriott Girls Track April 11-16

Senior Lily Herriott earned Athlete of the Week honors for her performances this past week at the Fort Frye Open and the Warrior Invitational.  On Tuesday at Fort Frye, Lily won the High Jump (5’0), the Long Jump (14’6), the 300 Hurdles (52.94), and placed 2nd as a member of the 4 x 400 Relay.  On Friday, Lily again captured the High Jump with a leap of 5’0, and was a member of the first-place 4 x 400 Relay. She also finished 4th in both the 300 Hurdles (51.39) and the Long Jump (14’4.75).

Andrew Vincent Andrew Vincent Boys Track April 4-9

Senior Andrew Vincent earned Athlete of the Week honors as he was instrumental in leading the Warriors to a 1st place team finish at the Marietta Night Relays and a runner-up finish at the Mingo Relays in Logan.  Andrew was the high point scorer in both relay meets.  He was a member of the 4 x 800 relay, 4 x 400 relay, the Sprint Medley Relay, and the High Jump.   

Mya Miller Mya Miller Softball April 4-9

Sophomore Mya Miller earned her first career Athlete of the Week honors for her performances this past week versus Fort Frye and Marietta.  In the two games, Mya reached base in all 9 plate attempts, had 2 bunt singles, 3 RBI, 6 stolen bases, and 4 runs scored.  From her catcher’s position, she recorded 11 putouts to go along with 3 assists.   

Hunter Vincent Hunter Vincent Baseball Mar 28-April 2

Senior Hunter Vincent earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors for his strong performances during four games this past week.  At the plate, Hunter banged out 6 hits in 10 AB (.600), including 3 doubles and 3 RBI.  He was equally impressive on the mound, making 3 appearances (2 starts & 1 in relief), pitching 10 total innings, allowing just 4 hits and 3 earned runs.  Hunter fanned 7 and walked 3 to post an ERA of 2.10. 

Jayden VanNoy Jayden VanNoy Girls Track Mar 28-April 2

Senior Jayden VanNoy earned her first career Athlete of the Week honors for her performances this past week at the Meigs Open and the Parkersburg South Invitational.  On Tuesday at Meigs, Jayden won the shot with a toss of 33’2 ¼” and placed 5th overall in the discus with a throw of 86’.  On Friday, Jayden improved in both events, winning the shot with a throw of 34’5” and placing 2nd in the discus with a mark of 90’5”.   

Aiden Strahler Aiden Strahler Wrestling Feb 28- Mar 5

Freshman Aiden Strahler earned Athlete of the Week honors for his performance at the District Championship this past weekend at Alexander.  Wrestling in the 165 lb weight class, Strahler finished 3-2 and qualified as an alternate for the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament.  Aiden’s record currently stands at 33-12 on the season.

Madison Lynn Madison Lynn Girls Basketball Feb 28- Mar 5

Sophomore Madison Lynn earned Athlete of the Week honors for her performance this past week in the Regional Semi-final vs. Tri-Valley at Zanesville.   Madison scored 8 points, that included 2 clutch 3’s, grabbed 4 rebounds, and played an outstanding defensive game helping the Lady Warriors advance to the Regional final with a 43-42 win. 

Gabe Bookman Gabe Bookman Wrestling Feb 21-26

Senior Gabe Bookman earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors as he placed 2nd at the Sectional Wrestling tournament this past weekend.  Competing in the 285 lb. weight class, Gabe finished with a record of 2-1, including 2 pins, and qualified for the District tournament.   Gabe returned to the wrestling program this year after not wrestling since his Freshman year, and has posted an 18-11 record on the season.

Mia Janes Mia Janes Swimming Feb 21-26

Junior Mia Janes earned her first Athlete of the Week honors for her performance in the 50 free and 100 backstroke para events at the State swimming competition at Canton this past Saturday.   Mia was 1 of 8 girls in the state to compete for her high school. Mia dropped 3 seconds in the freestyle and 2 seconds in the backstroke, establishing new personal best times. 

Julian Stadelman Julian Stadelman Boys Basketball Feb 14-19

Freshman Julian Stadelman earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors as he was instrumental in leading the Warriors to 56-29 victory over New Lexington Friday night to claim the Sectional Championship.  In helping the Warriors avenge an early season loss to the Panthers, Stadelman scored a career-high 17 points, added 3 steals, and dished out 4 assists. 

Hayley Snyder Hayley Snyder Wrestling Feb 14-19

Junior Hayley Snyder earned Athlete of the Week honors for her historic performance at the OHSWCA Girls State Wrestling Tournament at Hilliard Davidson High School this past weekend.   Wrestling in the 110 lb weight class, Hayley finished 4-0 with 3 pins to claim her 3rd consecutive State title.  In the title match, Hayley won 8-1 to become the schools’ first, three-time State Champion, male or female, in any sport. 

Aiden Strahler Aiden Strahler Wrestling Feb 7-12

Freshman Aiden Strahler earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors as he was instrumental in leading the Warriors to a 1st place finish at the Caldwell Invitational this past Saturday.  Wrestling in the 165 lb weight class, Strahler finished 5-0 and earned Outstanding Wrestler of the Tournament.   

Kylee Tait Kylee Tait Wrestling Feb 7-12 Sophomore Kylee Tait earned her first career Athlete of the Week honors for her performance at the OHSWCA Girls Wrestling Tournament this past weekend.  Kylee finished 3-0 in the 140 lb weight class to capture the District title and earn her 2nd consecutive trip to the State Tournament.
Brayden Sallee Brayden Sallee Boys Basketball Jan 31-Feb 6

Senior Brayden Sallee earned Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts this past week in wins over Ripley and Morgan.   In a 67-45 win at Ripley, Brayden poured in 29 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.  He followed that up with 37 points, to go along with 10 rebounds, in the Warriors 67-54 home win over Morgan.

Katie Markley Katie Markley Swimming Jan 31-Feb 6

Sophomore swim newcomer Katie Markley earned Athlete of the Week honors for her performances in two swim meets this past week.  At a tri-meet at Athens on Friday, Katie swam the 200 Individual Medley (50 yards of all 4 strokes) for the first time.  She then swam it again on Sunday at the SEOSL Championship meet, improving her time by 2 seconds and earning an 8th place finish. 

Trent Taylor Trent Taylor Boys Basketball Jan 24-29

Sophomore Trent Taylor earned Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts during a 3 game homestand this past week.   In a 57-37 win over arch rival Marietta, Trent scored 13 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.  He followed that up the next night with 14 points and 9 rebounds in the Warriors 52-29 win over Jackson.  Trent capped off a very productive week with 23 points, on 10-11 shooting, and 9 rebounds in a hard-fought 62-58 loss to Parkersburg South in front of a capacity crowd.  For the week, Trent averaged 16.7 ppg. to go along with 8 rpg.

Alexis Frazee Alexis Frazee Girls Basketball Jan 24-29

Junior Alexis Frazee earned Athlete of the Week honors for her strong performances in two wins this past week.  In a 63-39 home win over Parkersburg South, Alex scored 19 points and dished out 5 assists.   She then followed that up with 20 points, 2 assists and 3 steals to lead the Lady Warriors to a huge 53-51 conference win on the road at New Philadelphia, clinching their 2nd consecutive ECOL Regular Season title.

Andrew Vincent Andrew Vincent Swimming Jan 17-22

Senior Andrew Vincent earned Athlete of the Week honors as he was instrumental in leading the Warriors to a 4th place finish at the St. Clairsville Invitational this past Saturday.  Andrew took 1st place in the grueling 500-yard freestyle, the first time he swam it this season, and dropped 6 seconds off his personal best from last season.   He also swam the first leg of the 400 relay that finished 2nd and set a new school record with a time of 3:53.59.

Sophie Cochran Sophie Cochran Girls Basketball Jan 17-22

Junior Sophie Cochran earned her first career Athlete of the Week honors for her solid performances in wins over Marietta and Athens.   In the 54-40 win over rival Marietta, Sophie scored 20 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and blocked 3 shots.  She was a perfect 8-8 from the FT line to help the Ladies’ pull away in the 4th quarter and clinch at least a tie for their second consecutive ECOL title.  She added 8 points in a 55-27 win over Athens, as the Lady Warriors won their 5th consecutive game to improve to 10-5 on the season. 

Pablo Clotet Pablo Clotet Swimming Jan 10-15

Junior Pablo Clotet earned his first Athlete of the Week honors for his strong performances in the pool at the OVAC Championships.  Pablo swam personal bests in both the 100 Free and the 100 Breaststroke, was a leg on the 10th place medley relay, and was part of the school record 200 free relay squad. 

Hayley Snyder Hayley Snyder Wrestling Jan 10-15

Junior Hayley Snyder earned Athlete of the Week honors for her historic performance at the 68th Annual Ron Mauck OVAC Wrestling Tournament at WesBanco Arena this past weekend.   Wrestling in the 113 lb weight class, Hayley finished with 4 wins and 2 losses enroute to a 7th place finish.  In doing so, she became the first female placer in the storied 68-year history of the OVAC Wrestling Tournament. 

Jason Williams Jason Williams Wrestling Jan 3-8 Sophomore Jason “Nugget” Williams earned his first Athlete of the Week honors of the season in wrestling with his outstanding performances on the mat at the Licking Valley Invitational.  Williams finished 4-0 with four, first-round pins to claim the 175 lb. weight class title.
Lily Herriott Lily Herriott Swimming Jan 3-8

Senior Lily Herriott earned her first Athlete of the Week honors in swim for her solid performances in the pool this past weekend.  In a dual with Marietta on Friday, Lily took 1st in the 50 free in a personal best 28.6 seconds, and 2nd in the 100 breast stroke. She was also part of the winning 200 medley relay (2:11.28 – NSR) and the 2nd place 200 free relay team. On Saturday at the PSHS Patriot Invite, Lily placed 2nd in the 100 breast stroke (1:24.39 - NSR), 3rd in a field of 40 in the 100 free, and was part of the 200 medley and 200 free relay teams that placed 2nd & 5th respectively.  Her efforts helped lead the ladies to a 3rd place team finish.

Trent Taylor Trent Taylor Boys Basketball Dec 20-25 Sophomore Trent Taylor earned Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts against New Lexington and Marietta heading into Christmas.   In the hard-fought 54-49 home loss to New Lex, Trent’s stat line included 10 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and a blocked shot.  He followed that up the next day with 21 points on 10-10 from the floor, grabbed 5 rebounds, dished out 3 assists, and blocked 2 shots in the Warriors commanding 66-28 win over Marietta in the River City Classic at Marietta College.
Mason Francis Mason Francis Swimming Dec 13-18

Freshman swimmer Mason Francis earned Athlete of the Week honors for his combined efforts in swimming meets hosted by Linsly and Parkersburg South.   Mason’s highlights from the two meets included setting three new school records by placing 1st in the 100 Breast stroke (1:10.74), anchoring the come-from-behind, 1st place finish in the 400 Relay (4:08.26), and finishing first in the 100 Free with a time of 52.63.  Mason’s efforts helped lead the Warriors to 2nd & 4th place team finishes, respectively.

Mackenzie James-McGuire Mackenzie James-McGuire Girls Basketball Dec 13-18

Freshman Mackenzie James-McGuire earned her first Athlete of the Week honors for her solid performances on the hardwoods this past week. In a 32-20 win over Parkersburg South on Monday, Mackenzie scored 9 points and pulled down 11 rebounds.   She capped off her week with a 6 point, 7 rebound effort in a hard fought 39-37 home loss to New Philadelphia. 

Jacob Berg Jacob Berg Wrestling Dec 6-11

Sophomore wrestler Jacob Berg earned Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts this past Saturday in the season-opening Warren High School/Hickory Grove Invitational.   For the tournament, Jacob finished 5-0 with 4 pins on his way to winning the 126 lb. weight class.   His efforts helped lead the Warriors to a 3rd place finish among 14 schools participating.

Lydia Johnson Lydia Johnson Cheerleading Dec 6-11

Senior Varsity cheerleader Lydia Johnson is this week’s Athlete of the Week. Coach Terri Roddy said this of Lydia: “She is dedicated, self-motivated and a team player. Her work ethic and leadership is excellent, and she understands the importance of leading by example. Lydia is well respected by her teammates and is extremely unselfish.  She is a well-rounded individual, an honor student, and is highly successful in all the things she does.”  

Trent Taylor Trent Taylor Boys Basketball Nov 29-Dec 4 Sophomore Trent Taylor earned Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts this past Friday night in the ECOL home opener against Dover.   In the hard-fought 55-47 loss to Dover, Trent had an outstanding all-around game as he scored 12 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, blocked 6 shots, and added 3 steals and a charge.
Abbie Smith Abbie Smith Girls Basketball Nov 29-Dec 4

Senior Center Abbie Smith is this week’s Athlete of the Week for her performances in a huge road win at Vinton County and a home conference win versus Marietta.  In the 70-48 win at Vinton County, Abbie contributed 16 points and 7 rebounds, and she followed that up with a career high 33 points, along with 12 rebounds, in the 63-42 win over Marietta. 

Brayden Sallee Brayden Sallee Boys Basketball Nov 22-27

Senior Brayden Sallee earned Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts this past weekend at the Zane Trace/McDonald’s Tip-Off Classic.   In a hard-fought 86-76 loss to Washington Court House, Brayden poured in a career-high 27 points, including 25 in the second half, and grabbed 8 rebounds. 

Tessa Haffner Tessa Haffner Girls Basketball Nov 22-27

Junior Guard Tessa Haffner is this week’s Athlete of the Week for her performance in a huge road win at conference foe Dover.  In the 46-43 come from behind win, which moved the Lady Warriors to 2-1 on the season, Tessa contributed 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal, but more importantly, she changed the game by shutting down Dover’s top scorer.

Hunter Hanes Hunter Hanes Boys Basketball Nov 15-20

Senior Hunter Hanes earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts this past week in three scrimmages on the hardwoods versus Frontier, Marietta, and Federal Hocking.   Following the scrimmages, Coach Maddox praised Hunter for being a great teammate, and for his hard work and perseverance throughout his four years participating on the basketball team.  Hunter and his teammates will open regular season play on Saturday, November 27.

Madison Lynn Madison Lynn Girls Basketball Nov 15-20

Sophomore Guard Madison Lynn is this week’s Athlete of the Week for her performance in the convincing season-opening win over Morgan.  Madison contributed 15 points, on 5-8 shooting from beyond the arc, 5 rebounds and 3 assists to lead the Warriors to victory in the first Girls Varsity regular season game played in the new Warrior Coliseum.  Her initial 3 was historic as it will go down as the first made 3FG in a regular season game in the new facility. 

Landon Fairbanks Landon Fairbanks Football Oct 25-30

Freshman Landon Fairbanks earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts in the Warriors playoff game at Bloom Carroll.   In defeat, Landon recovered 3 fumbles, broke up a pass, had 2 receptions, and returned 5 kicks for 71 yards.

Adrian Baker Adrian Baker Cheer Oct 25-30

Senior Varsity cheerleader Adrian Baker is this week’s Athlete of the Week. Coach Terri Roddy said this of Adrian:  “She is very dedicated to her team.  Adrian is a role model, and her teammates would describe her as sweet and a person of “good character”.  Adrian goes out of her way every practice to make sure girls have a ride to and from practice, no matter where they live. She works hard to improve her skills and always has a positive attitude and does what she is asked with no complaints.”

Andrew Vincent Andrew Vincent Boys XC Oct 18-23

Senior Andrew Vincent earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors for his efforts in helping the Warriors, who finished 5th as a team, advance to the Regional Cross Country meet.   Andrew ran a time of 18:20 to finish 36th out of 156 runners in the District Championships at Rio Grande University. 

Alexis Frazee Alexis Frazee Girls Soccer Oct 18-23

Junior Alexis Frazee earned Athlete of the Week honors for her strong performances in two Warrior wins in the Sectional Tournament. Alex scored the second goal of the game in a 7-0 semi-final win over Miami Trace on Tuesday, then headed two consecutive corner kicks into the back of the net in the 4-0 Sectional Championship win over #5 Circleville on Thursday. 

Caleb Burns Caleb Burns Boys Soccer Oct 11-16

Senior Caleb Burns earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors for his strong performances in two wins this past week.   Caleb had a goal and an assist on four shots in the 3-0 win over Parkersburg South on Monday, and capped the week off on Saturday with two goals on seven shots in the 3-2 win over John Glenn.

Grace Randall Grace Randall Girls XC Oct 11-16 Senior Grace Randall earned Athlete of the Week honors for her strong performance at the ECOL Championships in Cambridge last Saturday. Grace led the way for the Lady Warriors, finishing 3rd overall with a time of 21:56.37.  In doing so, she earned 1st Team All-ECOL honors.
Aiden Westerman Aiden Westerman Boys XC Oct 4-9

Sophomore Aiden Westerman earned his first Athlete of the Week honors of the season this past Saturday in a strong performance at the OVAC Championships in Cambridge.  Aiden finished 62nd out of 217 runners (#14 of 57 sophomores) with a new personal best time of 18:21.7.  This is his 3rd PR of the season.

Maggie Reynolds Maggie Reynolds Girls XC Oct - 4-9

Freshman Maggie Reynolds earned her first career Athlete of the Week honors for her performance this past Saturday at the OVAC Championships in Cambridge.  She ran a personal best 22:24 to finish 51 out of 187 runners (#31 in class 5A & #5 Freshman in 5A), and, in doing so, solidified the #3 spot on the Girls XC team.   This is Maggie’s third time setting a new PR this season, with hopes of continuing the trend at the upcoming ECOL and District meets.

Jason WIlliams Jason Williams Football Sept 27-2 Sophomore RB Jason “Nugget” Williams earned his second Athlete of the Week honors of the season as he became the first sophomore to eclipse 1,000 yards rushing in a season at Warren.  In the 28-12 win over Vinton County, Williams toted the ball 25 times for 260 yards and 4 TD’s -- runs of 3,11, 33, and 41 yards – to push his season total to 1,043 yards. 
Jordyn Taylor Jordyn Taylor Girls XC Sept 27-2

Sophomore Jordyn Taylor earned her first career Athlete of the Week honors for her performance this past Saturday at Pickerington.  She ran a personal best 22:04 to finish 53 out of 237 runners (Top 25%), and, in doing so, moved up to the second spot on the Girls XC team.   Jordyn has improved her time by 2 minutes this season. topping last years’ PR of 23:08 at District's.

Caleb Davis Caleb Davis Boys Golf Sept 20-25

Senior Caleb Davis earned Athlete of the Week honors for his performance
at the East Central Ohio League Championships.  Caleb won the 2nd round
of the tournament with a one over 37.  In dramatic fashion, Caleb sank his
last putt on hole 18 (par 5) for birdie to win the Championship by one shot,
and in doing so, secured 1st Team and ECOL Player of the Year honors.

Macie Smith Macie Smith Girls Soccer Sept 20-25

Senior Macie Smith earned Athlete of the Week honors, scoring four goals in
two games during this past week.  Macie scored the first two goals in a 3-2
victory over Logan, and added two more in the 4-4 tie against Alexander.

Edward Kehl Edward Kehl Boys Golf Sept 13-18

Junior Edward Kehl earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors with a
top 10 finish at the Rodney Butt Classic this past Saturday.  He did this by
breaking 80 for the first time in his career, with a hard fought 8 over 79 at the
tough Donald Ross Design Denison Golf Club.  Edward finished in the top 10
out of 100 golfers. 

Hollis Sturgill Hollis Sturgill Girls Golf Sept 13-18 Junior Hollis Sturgill earned Athlete of the Week honors with two medalist
rounds this past week.  On Tuesday at Pickaway CC, she shot a solid round
of 41 helping the team claim victory. The very next day at Oxbow GC, she
broke the school record with a round of +1 over par 36. This set the tone for
the Warriors as they were victorious again and tied the stroke record for team
score with 172.
Ben Goodman Ben Goodman Boys Soccer Sept 6-10

Senior Ben Goodman earned his first career Athlete of the Week honors
with his strong performance in a 3-1 East Central Ohio League road win
over Dover.   Ben scored two of the Warriors three goals to lead the team
to their first win of the young season. 

Grace Randall Grace Randall Girls XC Sept 6-10

Senior Grace Randall earned her first career Athlete of the Week honors
as she was the lone Warrior to medal at the Jeremy Anderson Invitational
at Fort Frye this past Saturday. Grace finished 11th out of 68 runners with
a season best time of 20:57.   Senior Grace Randall earned her first career

JT Rice JT Rice Football Aug 30-4

Senior MLB J.T. Rice earned Athlete of the Week honors with his strong
defensive performance versus Williamstown.   J.T. was in on 18 tackles,
forced a fumble, recovered a fumble, and recorded one tackle for a loss
to lead the Warrior defense.

Skyler Radabaugh Skyler Radabaugh Girls Golf Aug 30-4

Junior Skyler Radabaugh earned Athlete of the Week honors as she
scored her first medalist round of the year on Monday at Hocking Hills,
leading the team to a victory over Logan. She backed up this
performance at the Washington County Championship by scoring a
school record-tying 38, winning medalist honors, and again helping the
team win the County Championship.

Bryson Angelo Bryson Angelo Boys XC Aug 23-28 Senior Bryson Angelo earned Athlete of the Week honors with his
strong, season-opening performance at the Broughton’s Invitational
in Marietta.   Last year’s state qualifier finished 5th overall out of 1
01 runners, covering the course in a time of 16:48, which was two
minutes faster than his personal best on that same course last season.
Payton Alloway Payton Alloway Girls Soccer Aug 23-28

Junior Payton Alloway earned Athlete of the Week honors for her
outstanding performance versus Waverly on Saturday at Warrior
Stadium.  In the 8-0 victory, Payton scored 5 goals to lead the Warriors.    

Jason Williams Jason Williams Football Aug 16-21

Sophomore RB Jason “Nugget” Williams earned his first Athlete
of the Week honors with a record-setting rushing performance
versus arch rival Belpre in the season opener for both teams. 
In the 47-12 win, Williams carried the ball 19 times for a
school-record 381 yards and 3 TD’s.  His night included TD runs
of 82, 65, and 58 yards.  His efforts in front of the near-capacity
crowd helped the Warriors open their brand new turf facility with a
convincing win.

Kali Wells Kali Wells Volleyball Aug 16-21 Junior Kali Wells earned her first Athlete of the Week honors for her
season opening performance versus Federal Hocking.  In the 3-1
victory, Kali led the team with 14 kills and 4 aces, and she was
instrumental in helping the Lady Warriors open the regular season
with a win in the new Warren High School gymnasium. 
Caleb Davis Caleb Davis Boys Golf Aug 9-14 Senior Caleb Davis earned Athlete of the Week honors as he fired
a 2 over 73 to capture medalist honors at the Washington County
Championships held at the Oxbow Golf Course.   Caleb is off to a
great start to the young season, establishing himself as the pace
setter in Washington County and the East Central Ohio League.
Clara Pettit Clara Pettit Girls Golf Aug 9-14

Junior Clara Pettit earned Athlete of the Week honors as she scored
in all 4 matches that she played during the week.   She set her new
personal best, breaking 90 for the first time, and she scored 2nd or 3rd
on the team in 2 of the matches.  Coach Biddinger praised Clara for
her winter work to improve her game.   

Nathan Heft Nathan Heft Boys Golf Aug 2-7 Senior Nathan Heft fired an 83 at the season opening tournament –
the Circle K Invitational at Eaglesticks—posting a 41 on the front 9
and a 42 on the back.  His score was good enough to place him in
the top 40 out of 120 total golfers in the tournament.   According to
Coach Evans, “Nathan is much improved due to the hard work he
has put in working on his golf game.”
Jillian Stemple Jillian Stemple Girls Golf Aug 2-7 Junior Jilliann Stemple fired a personal best of 90 at the opening
tournament of the year at Eaglesticks in the Circle K Invitational to
earn Athlete of the Week honors.  According to Coach Biddinger,
“this sets a good tone for Jilliann’s junior campaign as she will be
looked upon to be a major key to the success of the program.”
