Parents and Students

We hope you find the app helpful in communicating with Teachers and Staff. There are many features to the app but we will focus on the texting feature called Conversations.

Here are a few tips and reminders:

1. Download the app

To download the app, just search for Warren Local School District in your app store or see the links at the bottom of the page.

You should've gotten an invitation sent to the email account that is connected to the school. **It will be from a company called Edlio** (check your Trash/Spam folder just in case). The email that will be connected to the Warrior App is the email you provided when registering your children in Final Forms. If you did not receive one, please click on the "The Warrior App Request Form."

2. Parents and Guardians must login with the email that the school already has on file. If you don't have an email on file, use the "The Warrior App Request Form" to let us know.

3. CONVERSATIONS is the feature in the Warrior App that is similar to text messaging. Parents, Guardians and Students, must be logged into the app to use Conversations. Find the icon that looks like speech bubbles and has Conversations under it. Use it like texting to communicate with Teachers and Staff.

4. The Warrior app is designed for Parents and Students to communicate with Teachers and Staff, not other Parents or Students. Parents cannot text other Parents, Parents cannot text Students and Students cannot text Parents.

5. If you reply in a group, EVERYONE in the group will see the reply. It's usually best to text separately if you don't want the whole group to see your reply. Most times, Teachers will send out a message and Close the conversation to keep the whole group from seeing replies. Just open a new conversation to speak to the Teacher separately.

6. Remember the time of day can impact replies. Teachers may not always be available. If you send messages after school hours or on the weekends teachers may not reply until the next school day. 

7. What if I can't login to the Warrior App?

Though we have tried to make sure all Parents and Students have accounts, we know we have missed some. Please click on "The Warrior App Request Form" and let us know. We want you to be able to use the app ASAP!
